'Till Death Do Us Part' Ring

A new take on a favorite.

I wanted to create a piece that felt like a statement, or a declaration of love. Flowing cursive wraps endlessly around the band, forming an unbroken vow. A 3mm lab-grown diamond is flush-set in the centre back, with its light shining through to the inside, where two undead lovers reach for each other, frozen in devotion. Their hands almost touch as the diamond shines through between them. A private symbol of love after death, known only to the wearer.

I chose a lab-grown diamond because it's a real diamond in every sense. Created under controlled conditions that replicate how diamonds form in nature, it's the same material, brilliance, hardness, and longevity without the murky business of diamond mining. It felt right for a piece about permanence and intention.
